HVB Oliven is a treatment home that caters to adult women and men aged 18 and above with substance abuse issues and co-occurring disorders. We offer a safe and structured environment where each individual receives support in finding paths to change and recovery. We are now looking for dedicated therapists/treatment assistants who want to be part of our team and contribute to meaningful work where you truly make a difference.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a therapist at HVB Oliven, you will work closely with our clients in their daily lives. You are responsible for providing support and guidance based on individual needs and treatment plans. The work involves motivating and strengthening clients' own resources as well as contributing to structure, safety, and participation in the treatment process.

You will participate in planning, documentation, and follow-up of interventions, as well as collaborate with colleagues, caregivers, and other stakeholders. The work requires both independence and the ability to collaborate, as well as a good ability to handle different situations in a professional and calm manner. You play a central role in motivating and supporting clients in their change work and in strengthening their ability to participate and take responsibility in their own process.

Part of the assignment involves being a contact person for one or more clients, which means following their development, coordinating interventions, and being a safe, supportive adult in their daily lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience working with individuals who have substance abuse issues and/or psychiatric diagnoses. You have a relevant education in social work, healthcare, or behavioral sciences. It is an advantage if you have training in MI (Motivational Interviewing) and are well-acquainted with a low-arousal approach.

You are secure in yourself, have a respectful and empathetic attitude, and the ability to create good relationships with both clients and colleagues. The work requires you to be flexible, responsible, and have a genuine desire to help people change.
